"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."

"You've got to find what you love. And that is as true for your work as it is for your lovers. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle."

"If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right."

"Remembering that you are going to die is the best way (...) to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart."

Okay... I think I can update my blog a little bit now.

I just receive a phone call from BU (Baptist University) that I'm recommended by the associate professor, interviewer of the entrance interview last Monday, to have a full-time education training next year. It's "Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Liberal Studies). I'm noted that the relevant document will be delivered in two weeks.

Wow... I still can't believe I've successfully made the first step to the teaching. What's more is I'm a full-time student again after almost ten years. ha ha... A really old student by age.

Anyway, I'll keep my plan to go to IED (Institute of Education) to have another interview next Monday, this time is English subject. It's unlikely that I'll turn down the offer from BU, but I'd like to get the experience as well as the challenge. By the way, I went to IED this Monday, I mislooked the date. When I realised the truth, I wanted to laugh myself so much. I had to control myself hard to avoid another embarrassment. So, I had a virtually four hour train trip for no reason. ha ha...

Some may doubt my desire to teach, what I can say now is I can't tell. It's too early. However, to be quite honest, I don't really want to teach at school under the guidance. I want everything in my control and play my game. Therefore, the uncertainty is still uncertain, but it'll be an interesting year is for sure.

Except applying the entrance of BU and IED, I also sent my application to HKU SPACE for advanced librarianship study. Since it's a part-time program, I'll weigh my ability to figure out whether I can handle it as well at the same time when I get the offer. I know it'll be tough, but time is more valuable to me.

Oh... Of course I'll put the voluntary work into account. I'll try as best as I can to make no change of doing it every other week.
